Paper.
Paper quality is measured in many technical ways
but as a general guide papers can be classified into three different
grades-A, B and C.A being the highest quality.
A-Grade Paper’s.
These papers will have a high quality, smooth,
bright white finish-ideal for use as Letterheads or important, prestigious
documents.
They will generally be well suited to run with colour laser/copier
machines and colour inkjet.
B-Grade Papers.
These papers will have a good level of smoothness
and whiteness to produce a good quality appearance that is ideal
for internal reports and external communications. They will generally
be multifunctional in that they will run well with most machines
but will be best suited to work with mono laser, copier or inkjet
machines.
C-Grade Papers
These papers will not be as white or smooth as
B-grade but they are ideal for general internal documents such as
informal reports or memos.
They will generally be designed to run well in high volume laser
printers and copiers without jamming.
There are 4 different paper sizes available.
A1 594 X 841mm.
A2 420 X 594mm.
A3 297 X 420mm.
A4 210 X 297mm.
Looking After Your Coloured Copier Paper.
Paper is made to specific low moisture levels.
If exposed to the damp it will not feed efficiently.
Over dry coloured copier paper stored by a radiator or in the
sun, will upset the moisture level and lead to jamming.
If
paper is exposed to the atmosphere for prolonged periods, it will
absorb the moisture. Always keep in its wrap when not in use.
